We are currently looking to build relationships with independent graphic artists, photographers, and columnists for occasional project-based work. The relationship would NOT be an employer-employee relationship, but rather a client-contractor relationship.
We're always looking for great art and photography to complement our contributors' written work.
If you are a photographer or graphic artist with a portfolio of existing work that you think would be a good fit for Ofrenda, we welcome you to get in touch. Please share a link to your online portfolio and let us know what your rates are for existing and commissioned pieces.
We are looking to build relationships with writers who have expert-level knowledge of Latinx/Chicanx spiritual traditions and healing practices (e.g., curanderismo), plants and plant medicine, licensed therapy (integrated approaches), and astrology. If you have an idea for a column or have an interest in writing on assigned topics, please get in touch.
If you're interested in being a one-time contributor to Ofrenda Magazine, you can respond to the open call through our submissions page. Contributors are NOT considered employees in any way. Submissions are evaluated for thematic fit with each issue. Authors of published work are offered a modest honorarium for their contribution.
