ADRIANA L. MEDRANO, PhD, is a Xicana Liberation Psychologist. She centers the healing of BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, Womxn of Color), utilizing an anti-oppressive and abolitionist approach. She is also the co-founder of Roots of South L.A. Wellness Center. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and resides on stolen, unceded Tongva land, known also as South-Central Los Angeles, California. Find her at
