Lara Medina

LARA MEDINA identifies as Xicanx with her ancestry originating primarily in the states of Jalisco and Sinaloa, Mexico. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where she earned a MA in theology from The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. After relocating to the Los Angeles area she earned a PhD in history from the Claremont Graduate University and has taught at California State University, Northridge in the Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies for the past twenty-five years.
